No matter what you’ve been through, you’ve managed to survive.
You may have been hurt physically and the scars still show, or emotionally and the pain is still fresh.
Or the one you trusted might have betrayed you; you might feel you’re shattered and not even duct tape can fix you.
Or you’ve been discouraged, hated and beaten, but you’ve made it through.
What didn’t kill you made you stronger, taught you to yell stop, taught you to fight back, raise your voice and walk away.
Someone hurt you but you put on a Band-Aid and stood up. You’ve won already, don’t fall back down, take another step and accept your prize, which is freedom.
Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday, it’s time to begin again, start fresh.
This time you know you’re stronger, you know you can fight whatever comes at you because you’re a firework and you’re going to show them that you’re a champion. A Winner.

This is based on the famous quote by Dr. Steve Maraboli: “You are not a victim. No matter what you have been through, you’re still here. You may have been challenged, hurt, betrayed, beaten, and discouraged, but nothing has defeated you. You are still here! You have been delayed but not denied. You are not a victim you are a victor. You have a history of victory.”
Parts of the lyrics of the following songs has been used: What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, by Kelly Clarkson Coming home, by Skylar Grey It’s time, by Imagine Dragons Firework, Katy Perry Fix You, Coldplay.
